NIGHTNGALE

there is no light without the dark
The Board

Advocates. Survivors.
Builders of what should already exist.

Nightingale is led by women who have spent careers inside this work, and in many cases, lived inside it. Every person on this page has chosen to put their name on the door so that a survivor never hears “there is no room” again.

Kelly Molloy
Founder · President
“After more than thirteen years in this work, I am tired of telling survivors there is no room. So I built one.”

Kelly has spent her career on the front lines of advocacy in Placer, Sacramento, and Nevada Counties, with more than 13 years serving vulnerable populations. She served as Lead Advocate for the Sacramento County SART Team, PREA Advocate for Stand Up Placer, and as a volunteer advocate for the Nevada County District Attorney’s Office.

She managed the Booth Family Center in Grass Valley and served eight years as a CASA with Sacramento and Placer County. She owns and operates a supervised visitation and safe-exchange agency in Placer and Nevada County, and she sits on the Loomis Chamber of Commerce and the Loomis Basin Soroptimist Board.

She founded Nightingale after watching too many advocates run out of options at 2 a.m.

Anna Medina
Board Member · Survivor Advocate · Placer County
“Healing is not simply about surviving — it is about creating, achieving, and inhabiting a life where a person is both safe and thriving.”

Anna is a California-based social services professional dedicated to supporting survivors of human trafficking and sexual assault, with more than six years serving vulnerable populations across diverse cultures, backgrounds, and lived experiences.

She served as Lead Advocate for the Placer County SART Team with Stand Up Placer for over two years and now works with the Empower and Employ Program at 3Strands Global Foundation. She has provided continuing education to first responders and partnered with multidisciplinary teams responding to sexual violence in her community.

Her work is rooted in holistic, collaborative case management and a belief in the inherent strength, resilience, and potential within every person.
